Day Forty-Seven Recap- Rest Day

Day forty-seven was spent in Lincoln, Nebraska.
We scheduled a rest day in Lincoln, there were several places we wanted to check out so we took a full day to do so.
We ate breakfast with our hosts, and then we split off. Jesse went to a local church, GO stayed home for a bit, and I decided to get myself some coffee at Cultiva. I pedaled to Cultiva, it was a mild day and a great bike ride. I spent most of the ride on a trail, and the rest was in downtown.
I got to the coffee shop and got myself a Colombia, Huila. The coffee was good, and I took advantage of some free time to edit photos. As we ride, I take tons of photos from my bike. There aren’t many times I get to take advantage to edit them, so I get way behind on editing. It was nice to be able to get some stuff done.
We all reconvened at Cultiva, and set out from there for some lunch. Yia Yia’s pizza was what we chose for lunch. We ordered a twenty inch pizza, and we were all happy with what we got.
After lunch, we headed towards a outdoor store/ bike shop to just check it out.
We also went to the capital building downtown. We were all amazed at the architecture and the sheer size of the building. We ran around like schoolchildren and we even took an elevator to the top of the tower. The view of Lincoln was really cool.
After the capital building, we took advantage of some wifi, and then we skipped back to the host home for dinner.
All in all, it was an uneventful day. (Much to our delight.)
We look forward to getting back on the road- we are headed out into beautiful country.

20 inches! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a pizza that big. Glad you all had a good “down” day.
